I've said it before and I'll say it again...... "who needs a man"!!!! Well done you!!! I was thinking it was a bit of crud from the old pipework caught up somewhere in the tap, but I suppose you gave that a thorough cleaning out whilst you changed the washer anyway.

Oh, this soooo reminds me of a day when my friend rang me up about something and told me she was busy changing the flex on a table lamp, to which I replied that I was busy plumbing in the new dishwasher coz they'd left it sitting in the middle of the narrow kitchen, so I had to do it in order to get around in the kitchen!!! That's when I said to her "lol, who needs a man"!!!
