Very battered stainless steel, had them for years, well years and year and years, cant remember when I bought them but must be at least 25 years ago. don't owe me much as I use them to scoop compost into flowerpots as well as feed the dogs.

Metal bowls for food here, but no stands. We do have stands but they're never used anymore because they seem to prefer chasing their bowl round the kitchen!

We use a ceramic bowl for water.

I use a large tupperware type bowl with a lid, then I cut a hole in the lid for them to drink out of, just big enough for Inca's nose.... otherwise Inca puts her feet in the bowl when she comes back from a walk.
We'd try raisng the bowl but as we have one tiny dog and one big one it isn't practical.
This way is also much cheaper as the bowl costs about 99p!
Also to prevent rough edges I melt them over a candle so they are nice and smooth.

Fudge has a double bowl holder in red( with rubber bottom) with metal bowls that fit inside the holes. They are a standard sized bowl so have enough for some to be in dishwasher and nice clean ones each night for her meal.

We use metal bowls, the two boys have one on a stand, the girls have smaller bowls on the floor, we use a ceramic bowl for their water.

One of mine likes to collect up the food bowls when they have finished and give them a good clean!!
