Memo From the Show Sec
This is a polite reminder for potential entrants to read the brief for the class carefully before submitting photos
The brief does state that for this particular class, entries are for pics of pup in a
side-on [ as near as possible ], Standing stance
This particular class is allowing non-show posed entries because of this point :
"A formal Show pose is not essential if that is`nt possible, after all those of you with adult dogs did not know to take a puppy Show pose photo when your dog was young just in case a forum was going to hold a Virtual Show requiring a posed photo sometime in your pups then future"
Were this a real life Breed show ring, eligible pups would be required to be formally stacked or free-standing but still posed.
If that were the case for this class, it would prevent many from being able to enter through not having a suitable photo hence while still requiring the pups to be standing up, they can be considerably more relaxed than a formal pose would require so that people whose dogs are now adults can enter this class with a nice side-on standing `candid` picture from their pups early days :smt001
I must also draw entrants notice to this clause of the entry details regarding what to put in pm`s to collators :
-----------------------------------
In the message body along with the photo you are submitting,
please state all of the following :
1] Pups breed
2] Confirm Pups Age [ as near as possible ] at the time the photo was taken
3 ] Pups name
Do not put anything else in the pm.
-----------------------------------
If you do not have a suitable photo for this particular class, please don`t worry, there are more puppy classes scheduled with no stance `requirement` so there will be other opportunities to enter your scrumptious puppy pics
If anyone has any queries on the points raised, please post them on the FAQ thread
HERE
where the Show Sec will be more than pleased to answer any questions
Many thanks for you attention, and now, back to drooling over the poopies
