i have tried moneysupermarket.com but nothing about csa came up? Also i take it the mortgage would need to have OH's name on it to be taken into account? (as it is currently just in mine) However all debt is in OH's name......... does this help us?

Hi Kristina, sorry my fault I've just asked my oh and it's www.moneysavingexpert.com and then go on the forums. Also the mortgage would definitely have to be in your OH's name if it goes on the the old rules but not on the new rules - very confusing I know. No debt gets taken into account. On the new rules it goes on a percentage of his wages but on the old rules it goes on what comes out of his net income such as mortgage and council tax.

oh blast lol. i thought it just went on income otherwise they wouldnt touch him with a barge pole cos he owes more than he earns lol bummer. Anyway thanks i will try that other site x
