i have 2 older brothers and an older sister. i also have 2 half brothers and 2 half sisters ooh and 2 step brothers! very very complicated

Whats the difference between a half sibling and a step sibling?
I always thought they were the same thing?!

no a step sibling is only a sibling by marriage ie my step brothers are my mums husbands sons but half siblings have either the same birth mother or same birth father as you

Quite a few BIG families. Biggest I have heard of is my aunt (my mothers brothers wife). She is the 13th child!!!!!!! 7 boys, 6 girls. apparently in those days there was no TV to watch (and little else to do) so all they did was make babies??!!!
