Our Advanced policy covers injury, illness and disease up to £6,000 per condition with no time limit on reaching this.
Is that per year does anyone know?

Sounds like its just £6,000 per condition that does not get renewed every year. Once you reach the limit you are no longer covered the same as More Than.

Thanks for that Carole, that's what I thought which puts me off...I saw the Halifax thread also and they came in a bit cheaper than direct line for me but also say £6000 per condition, per year.

Halifax and M&S are both underwritten by the same company and both do the per condition per year. I think M&S is £7000 per year per condition These are probably the best policies to go for.

hiya pet plan is a bit dearer but they pay for the life of the illness............ you pay like a £70 excess and thats it, they have paid for my cat for 2 years now, its cost Thousands!!

but better than per illness, as id never be able to afford everything!

Hi I got a quote from pet plan their budget option covers £4000 per condition per yr...I input one of my dogs details and it came out at £20.40

I was most interested in their supreame cover = unlimited £'s per yr for each condition but understandably this was quite expensive at £28.50 for the same dog.

I need to insure 2 dogs so that (£57) would be quite alot for both of them.

So I compared Halifax to pet plans budget cover which I mentioned earlier and Halifax came out better with £6000 per condition per yr etc etc for £17.77 for one of my dogs (x 2 for both of them with 10% discount) With the example I gave earlier for pet plan I would be paying £20.40 for only £4000 per yr in vet fee's.
