Good, concentrate on the nice people around you who do deserve your thoughts and care.

I agree wholeheartedly with June on this one, Griff, life's too short to waste it on such an ingrate.

Was nearly going to Scotland next weekend, dad saw a range rover he wanted but now he is looking at a different one, don't think I would have managed the flight let alone the drive back....would have preferred summer too as Scotland is cold isn't it....was near Edinburgh

Spot on with that LG. I know I'll never ever see my eldest son again, and it breaks my heart, but I also know I would be worse than stupid than to let him back in, as he would rob me blind yet again, all the while pretending to care about me.
Your brother hasn't even got the decency to pretend he liked what you had put great thought into, just threw it back in your face, how you didn't kick him in the crutch on the way out I have no idea.
Flaming heck, Edinburgh is a very very long way, find somewhere nearer, especially as there's snow and all sorts forecast for the next week

This car is a real good one at a terrific price...so much so that I questioned what was up with it...to good to be true and all that...he has seen another in Acton London but it is nearly double the price...he is adamant he will buy it and is on about switching his plate over.. I despair of him lol

He is going to get rid of his M Sport apparently, only had it about a year...he wanted a range rover before, talked him out of it and he rushed off and bought the Msport, at least he is taking his time....sort of!! I just worry about what is next

Grrr! Just lost a big post!
I'm no fan of motor vehicles - to me they're just a tool to do a job. I wont even buy a brand new one as I have a theory that 3 or 4 year old ones with low mileage are the best value - having got both the early depreciation and any teething troubles out of the way. Our current one is a 2.4 litre estate - chosen simply because it can take 2 people, 4 dogs and half a ton of poultry corn with no trouble at all. Just had to ask the Mem - she informs me it's a Hyundai Santa Fe - shows how much I know.
When we bought this one I asked the Mem if she wanted a Range Rover and she said she wouldn't be seen dead in one. Says they're dangerous and prone to turning over! Despite the blurb - she says they wouldn't last a year round our place.
