I think there is a place for both conventional and "natural" remedies. For instance our vet wanted to put my 7 year old Golden Retriever on a prescription hip & joint pill and it was very expensive. I began searching the internet and found a product by GoodFish that was cheaper than the prescription and a natural source of Omega 3 because it is dehydrated salmon eggs. goodfishsalmon.com
