Cut to size then get cover for it.
Sounds like the perfect solution!

Kibo more often is curled up, Sami is a sprawler!

I suggest instead of trying to find super king size dog bed you purchase a huge leather sofa instead. They will love that.

Single foam mattress from Ikea .... you could make washable cover, possibly duvet cover.

Look on freecycle for a second hand sofa. cover it with a throw or an elastic mattress cover. my Great danes always had that in the house. In the sleeping quarters for night OH made a wooden slatted bed with a memory foam mattress.

You can buy different lengths and depths I just stick in a single quilt cover
My lot love a snuggle on it ,saves having multiple beds
Have heard the tuffies are good beds
That's a GREAT idea.

Arrived today and the dogs love it,bit smaller than I pictured but they can both get on it easily.Although Dave prefers the new shaggy rug we got last night for the front room lol
Sorry for crappy phone pics.So seems a success although the poles that slot together has some rough/sharp edges with bits of swarf on,I also saw someone else complain of this on a youtube vid shame they havent rectified it!No danger to the dogs just the idiot thats putting it together!
