Yes our vet is lovely though he makes sure the dog who is left gets to see and sniff the body so they know what has happened. It really seems to help as while she is unhappy today she isn't looking for Mollie. He did the same when Duncan died and that helped Mollie too.

Going to get Betty some new toys this afternoon as she has lost her main plaything because it was rare for them not to be together up to mischief or playing or snuggling. I seem to be the main snuggler today she is curled up on my shoulder as I type this normally she would have been curled up with Molliepops.
