Skye gets a free bag of mini cheddars when I take him to our village pub.

I had him out with me last night in fact

He's been going for 15 years and the locals love to see him.

The only time dogs aren't allowed in the pub is during meal times but I tend to take him for last orders.

Here in Ledbury, two pubs in particular are very dog friendly and in the winter it is quite funny to see the roaring log fires completely hogged by gently steaming dogs drying off after an evening walk. The regulars know their place - some always stick to the left hand side, some the right, and some curl up under a table, but new visitors are tolerated very well indeed..............usually
