I honestly dunno, I've had both and they have both been very rewarding but you never really know what you're going to end up with so best I go into it prepared for anything

Getting too old for too much of a challenge these days I think, though it probably depends on the sort of challenge the dog presents. Real aggression to people or other dogs which I have dealt with in the past, are not something I would want to cope with now. Probably what one person sees as a challenge, someone else might not find it that at all though.

It all depends on what is meant.

I like challenging dogs in the fact that I have GSDs and BCs and they are worky dogs that like to be busy.

However, I like my "easy" collies and WL GSD in that they have stable nerves and excellent temperaments so I can take them anywhere and everywhere. Those are the dogs I like the best.

OK---not a joke then and now you feel able to take on a challenging dog-----I can't wait!

Me too.

Pippam you can borrow my challenging dog if you like, (for experience )you only need to have her for the period of a walk, and then come back and tell me you are up for a challenge

Right now an easy dog, due to my health issues and the fact I am supposed to be keeping my BP down

But I don't mind certain challenging dogs. However, there are some challenges I would feel are too much for me right now.

All my animals in the past have been a challenge to some degree and on the whole have been very rewarding once we have "got there".
