Keep an eye on this site, this is where club trials are advertised.

The nearest club to you is South Valeey

I am not sure where Southern Counties is based,

If you are interested in seeing dogs in Working Trials (as opposed to IPO) then there are two trials near you, Hampshire (end of August) and Poole (end of September). Neither society hold a PD stake though.

Aaah. Thats lovely. I have always followed the blood lines of the Thoroughbread race horses. I could really get into this GSD thing too. Although it seems different, somehow, to the Horses. Is it more fragmented maybe?

Basically protection work is optional in Working Trials.

Also the style is more relaxed in WT than it is in Schutzhund/IPO

But there are lots of similarities.

I can see that now. I think i would just love to see GSD in any work. That event in Poole may be a good start. You are a Diamond. Thank you Smokey.

I think Poole still ends on Sunday but check with the contact. That is when you will see the top handlers compete for the ticket in Control and Agility.

Tracking takes place on the preceding days.

You can watch all stakes but watching TD is the most informative and interesting.
