The only toy she really liked was a whippet stick because she loves to chase (but not a ball unfortunately )

However, at the grand old age of 3 she is beginning to show some interest in running after a ball ... some times and in some places.
What is a whippet stick? xx

I have a lunge line (for horses) with a small toy tied on the end. But you would not need something so big for a puppy.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant!!! I got my old lunge line crop out, tied a toy to the end and just played around, she was instantly interested!! Chased it around and didnt take her eyes off the toy! I'm so pleased

I didnt push it as 1 I didnt want to over excercise her and 2 I didnt want to let her lose interest, we did about 3 or 4 minutes but I can tell this will work, I may be imagining it but when we just did some recall (about an hour and a half after the whippet) she seemed to look a bit more interested in coming back, I have gone right back to basics though as I think (well know now ) that I was was running before I could walk xx
