Hope all goes well, if it is any sort of consolation, there are many dogs who compete in various disciplines with only one eye.

So sorry to hear about Cherry Just try to remember that you will be more upset about this than Cherry, and I have no doubt she will adapt without any problems.

Thinking of you all today x

Hope all goes well today - hugs to you all!

Just another piece of reassurance...

M&M's mum, Lottie, who is 7, lost her eye earlier this year in an accident (kicked by a horse). Whilst it's not the nicest to look at, she has adapted just fine. We visited on Sunday, and she was barrelling round the field, barking at the gate and generally being her bossy-boots-usual-self. She is exactly the same dog, the only difference we have noticed is a head twist when you are on her 'wrong' side, so she can see you. She still climbs on the dining room table to sleep, sneaks into the kids bedrooms and swims in the drainage ditch

Sorry to hear she has to go in for the op. I am sure things will be fine! I know a few dogs with only one eye and have no troubles! One even still competes in agility!

Wishing her a speedy recovery!
