Thanks everyone. We are all doing great, Its amazing how awake you can feel at 4am after 1 hours sleep! lol

China has been great, we have tried encouraging her to come up for cuddles whilst im breastfeeding and in general and praising her whenever she is around the baby and being good, She is being so cautious and gentle, although does sigh and look miffed when She is woken with baby cries!

It wasnt a water birth as for some reason one day of paliptations back in December, which a consultant checked me for and said there was nothng wrong...translated into a major heart condition and i wasnt allowed in the pool!

Then i was told, with contractions 3 mins apart that i was to early to be in delivery so had to go to labour ward, with no gas and air even though their strongest pain killers werent touching the pain!

So down i went, in the bath 1 hour and waters broke and back up to delivery!

Then after 45 mins i went from 4-9 cm dialated and was almost ready for pushing!

So it all went a bit fast an blurry, the pethidine kept making me doze off, which helped pass the time, but was begging for an epidural (mainly out of panic i think now!) and my hubby was amazing! Kept encouraging me and spurring me on! and he been fab with the baby! She's a real daddy's girl!

She is feeding really well, like a monster in fact and has started grinning, which is so cute!

China has been given lots of extra treat and attention and is loving her little sis!!!

Oh Alex!!!! Now I don't normally do babies (I'd much prefer a puppy lol!), but in Eleanor's case I will make an exception, coz she really is stunningly pretty, hmmmm, must take after her mum then!!! Babies are usually a bit on the ugly side aren't they, but not her, you must be a very proud mum indeed xxxxxxx

Oh Helena! you do make me laugh! I said that to hubby! Even one of the healthcare assts said that a lot of babies are only pretty to their family!

But there were some super cute babies on that ward! And as for getting looks from me????? LUCKILY she has them from her father!
