They did say i dont require a home visit, but said they will visit me couple of weeks later to see how we are getting on together.I've never heard of this before and thought they inspected all homes to check for suitability.I did fill out a questionaire which asked about what breeds i have previously owned, places for excercise, veterinary practice i use, reasons for wanting a dog etc etc though so perhaps they didnt need to??? I havent anything to hide eitherway-lol.
Great news Steve Congratulations

Dont know how the shelters work in the UK, but in the one I worked at here we would send out a person hired by the shelter to do a check up within 6 month from the dog got a new home.

Not only to see if the dog was settled in, but also to help with advice etc if there was any prob or doubts.

We didnt ask for ppl to fill out any forms (except the contract for buying) but did interwiew them when they came looking and "tried out" diff dogs there.
(Does this makes sense? )

Look forward to tons of pics of Vegas
