As Olive says Luke, whether a breeder is a good human being or not has absolutely nothing to do with them being KC!
And, Scotties in Wheaten are quite highly sought after as far as I know so why anyone would drown them is beyond me!
If a breeder is a bad person, then that is hardly anything to do with the Kennel Club is it. Most of the good people on this board who breed are KC, I'm sure that you'll agree they're all lovely people? Can you imagine anyone here drowning a pup because of its colour? No, of course not. If I produced a non standard coloured pup, I would merely endorse its registration so that its new owner could not breed from it.And, probably let it go a little cheaper.
