Okay we have some wine connoisseurs in our office (you know the type ) and every time I say my favourite wine they have a look of sheer disgust....

I like Hock and Libfraumilch (sp?). They are the cheap type I know but I still maintain to this day if I had a million pounds in the bank I would still drink these. I like really sweet wines and so far have not found any I like as much as these two......any suggestions for similar tasting wines appreciated. I tried a stowells libfraumilch in the pub on a work night out once but have never managed to find it since.

I like rose wines very much too.

Oh great news lassies, now it means I am not the only Jakie around lol. Just kidding they are good though eh. They do tend to get looked down by people who are right into wines etc. Maybe because they are fairly cheap who knows.

Hmmm, now this is my kind of topic!

Red: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo or Teroldego Rotaliano as a sort of standard, but, if I could afford it, a nice Gevrey Chambertin!

White: Chablis, if I can run to it! But it's more usually something out of a box! Cab sauv or Frascati.

With Chinese food, I go for Cotes du Rhone, a beefy red!
