So glad to hear that the op went well and that Fred is back home with you. Hope you both have a peaceful night and that Fred is feeling a bit perkier tomorrow.
Hugs to you both xx

Hi all
Sorry I've not been able to get on to update, Fred is so much better today. They are amazing how quick they recover. He's eating soft food well, will try and reintroduce some dry food this evening. He hasn't bothered with his wound at all so hasn't needed a cone which is good He has a wound check at the vets at 5pm but it looks clean, it's just a bit horrible to look at with there being a hole there but that's just me being squeamish. We are keeping an eye on his drinking as he doesn't appear to be drinking a lot himself but we have made him take some water. He had zoomies this morning so he must be feeling better

thanks Helen, I forgot to ask the vet so I'll check tonight, I'm presuming it will take a week or so. He took good margins just in case so fingers crossed xx
