what about something like that?
http://<br /> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...tem=4330486227

also, does anyone know where to get 'dogs loose' or something.. or 'please shut the gate, dogs loose'.

rather than beware of the dog

or this?

This topic does the rounds on forums frequently.

Last time it came up a lawyer on a forum did some research that revealed nobody had actually used a dog sign against an owner, and were unlikely to be succesful if they did.

Any lawyer worth his salt would have have a case thrown out of court, if it were the case that signs could gbe used against you then there wouldn't be any point in putting up any warning sign for anything.

In my opinion any one who posts other wise is playing in to the hands of the crims.

I have a couple of those funny cartoon breed signs from pets at home, but they are not on show, they are at the back of the house

Sadly I don't put anything up that advertises my breed due to thefts of Staffs I suppose in the back of my mind a worry.

However I have got a sign on the back gate saying

"NEVER MIND THE DOG IT'S THE CAT YOU WANT TO WORRY ABOUT" the sign has a picture of a lion on it

This is a nice website for dog signs and for £4.50 i think they are really nice.

http://www.glasafon.co.uk/acatalog/Gatesign-large.html

One of them is perfect for wheaten terriers, it says 'Caution intruders will be licked to death!' and hat is just what happens when you come to our house!
I also like the one that says 'break in, make my day!'

sarah xxxxx

P.S they are also personalised with your breed as well
