It is a beautiful day here as well. Only had a fleece on.
Sounds like you had a good visit to Killarney Rosebud I remember the cathedral from when we went
I love the history of it more then the present; hate the lurid floodlighting! And the TV screens!

But there is peace there in the old stone.

Not sure how many know this but it was half built when the Great Famine hit and then it was used as a hospital. Mass graves and a poignant monument in the grounds to the six hundred children buried there.

FINALLY I have managed to get back on here

I have no idea what Azz did yesterday to cause so many of us to have problems but up until about half an hour ago I was getting the forum page with nothing had changed since yesterday i.e. no Daily thread today etc etc.

I assume there have been no dramas since I last posted yesterday. I have read through today's posts though.

I went to visit Mum at her home this morning after I'd walked the dogs. She was on pretty good form for her

Lynn Thank you for passing the message on to Azz. Sorry you are having so much hassle with your car. and I hope poor Gorden keeps his cold to himself but feels better soon.
Helena I hope the dentist appt goes OK. I'm going tomorrow morning because I keep grit in my mouth and I'm sure it must be crown cement .... which crown though
Thought it best to go and get them checked out before one falls out ... not a good look
EmmiS I hope your foot recovers quickly. I know just how painful that is and one of my horses managed to actually break two of my toes .... soooo painful
LS I hope you can stop Loki chewing her paw
June Lovely puppy fix and her paws are H U G E

Hi to everyone else who has popped in today

Off to walk the dogs .... so much rain overnight the river levels have risen hugely again. No flooding and we had better not have any . However, the riverside garden is just to wet again to let them on it again. Last night they came in covered in silt.

See you all later.

And yes, she has got shovels for paws!

Gorgeous pics of Fenn, she looks very, very happy in her lovely new home too Your walks do sound like mine there June!!! Remember the lady with the 5 collies I told you about who called them all to heel when she saw me turn around and keep out of her way? Well, the other morning, she was heading straight towards me with them all running everywhere on the little road from the car park, and because I was half way up it, I thought booger, I'm not going to turn back, she can blooming well get them onlead or something Anyhoo, she saw me, called them all to heel and moved them all over onto the grass verge, and although it's only a small, single track road, we walked passed unscathed and I thanked her profusely for doing that and uttered "it's the collie/shepherd thaing" to which she laughed and said "oh yes!!". So it's not just me then, she actually knows that collies do not like shepherds one little bit! At least your girls are good like Zena is, because to have a lungeing barking dog at the end of my lead would pull me over, same as it would you June with your poorly ribs.

Hi Eileen, happy spinning tonight then, remember the pads though

Hi Debbie, yes, sooooooo exciting when the clocks spring forward isn't it, you'll be lulled into a false sense of security thinking spring has arrived already over there won'tcha. By the way, I DID drive straight home yesterday with the rent in my handbag, and although that norty car of mine kept twitching at every right turn (for Dunelms!) I fought with it and kept it on a straight line lol!

Hi Rosebud, sounds like you had a lovely day out today and to treat yourself with some flowers to top it off was just the icing on the cake, let alone the return of the prodigal aka his nibs. Don't forget to feed him or he'll be off again.

Hi Jenny, I'm working backwards here lol! Glad your mum was on tip top form this morning for your visit and even more glad you could get back in here. No, a missing crown is definitely not a good look, nor is 4 missing front teef, hence the reason I had to get them put on my spare back plate!!!

Hi Lynn, I know how you feel, I'm very attached to my car too, and I get so fed up with getting nails and things stuck in my tyres making them flat, it really upsets me when I go down there and see yet another flat tyre

Dave's getting ready for his hospital appointment, I'm having a shower, and I'll pop back on later for the arrival of Sally hopefully before Corrie. Hi Sally in case I miss ya

Talking of missing people, I miss you today Gordon cos your posts always make me smile - where ARE you then???!!! Stop hiding and get yourself in here please Don't worry, Eileen's not vibrating today, she's gone off spinning. Either you've been locked out or you've been allocated a very long to do list today by you know who. Hoping it's the latter, well, not really, but much more preferable to you going awol on us.

Evening all

Folks still having trouble seeing posts on here?

What a meh day. Morning was good till I got a text from Brian, Davie has been suspended for 3 days for headbutting a boy! In front of his pupil support! He handed the PSA his glasses and just went for it.

Apparently this lad had been winding Davie up all day, had tripped him up in the school corridor, pushed him, then was whispering and calling him names behind the teachers back. So Davie just went for him.

Although I am very disappointed, I am also pleased because he stood up for himself. However! There is a time and place and in front of the teaching staff is not when you do it! Jeezo!

Anyway, disappointed and upset this afternoon. So Davie is not being allowed off with it, I am collecting written work for him tomorrow night that he is to complete till he goes back on Friday.

So far, he's washed the dishes, fed the boys and really tidied his room.

Tonight, Pipes and Drums with the cadets. Davie is coming so he can get out of the house tonight.
