I'm more into medieval history than anything and also pre-Norman Britain, but I do enjoy Sharpe, then again I'm an avid reader of Bernard Cornwell books, although never ever read the Sharpe series as I've loved the Sharpe series. Mostly I've read the books prior to most of whats made into a TV series (awaiting the rest of the George R R Martin Game Of Thrones books, although never seen the Sky version of them)
