Yes you are entitled to you opinion but this is not a thread asking for opinions on whether you are for or against docking.

Animal Welfare Act 2006 (Scotland) - Docking
As from 6 April 2007 it will be illegal to dock puppies' tails in Scotland (other than for therapeutic reasons) or to travel across borders to have them docked. Regulations pertaining to this law will be approved by April 2007.

Animal Welfare Act 2006 (England and Wales) - Docking
As from April 2007 it will be illegal to dock puppies' tails (other than for therapeutic reasons or if a breeder can submit evidence to a Veterinary Surgeon that the dog is of a specified type to be used for work, rescue, armed forces, police, pest control).
Regulations pertaining to this law will be approved by April 2007 by England and Wales separately. It will not be permissible for docked dogs to be shown at fee paying shows.
thus meaing,as everything else, there will be a way round it

theres also a web site called, vets for docking, its for the vets that wish to be made exempt.
dont want to put a dampener on things but until peolpe stop buying docked pups there will always be docked pups.
from what i can figure, all a breeder has to say is that the pups could be sold for work purposes and hey presto, all they have to do is find a vet that will do it(not as hard as you mite think either)
as dobes, rottis, mastiffs 2name a few can and are sumtimes used for work docking will neva stop.
its just like the hunting ban, there are exemptions
