What's the point of a thread if you can't debate? That's just a list....how dull! The point of a forum is discussion

I get the impression HollyG1 has misunderstood the point of the thread and that those aren't her opinions but ones she has heard?

Because due to how people usually react here I wouldn't be taking part if I had thought a debate was what was going to happen.

To be pedantic Julie, you're getting involved with a debate here too

I don't mind debating this I just don't want to get involved in debating food or walking or things I can do little about as either I don't earn enough to feed these fantastic foods others think are the only thing a dog should eat or my experience of dogs is such that I have had some who just plainly don't enjoy walking much. No point in debating and getting upset over things I cannot change.

Don't debate it then - no one's forcing you to respond to those posts if anyone does query your initial opinion. If you feel happy with the way your dogs are treated then it's your perogative. Personally, I will often start a debate because I have experienced numerous people change their mind and change things for the benefit of their dog simply because someone else has questioned it. Not saying you need to change anything in your dog's life but I don't think debates are wrong.

I don't think in general they are wrong either I just thought the thread was to list your unpopular opinions.

I thought this too.

I agree with whoever said they hate dogs on furniture, especially beds. I find it really unpleasant.
