so she is not in the AKC working, sporting, hound, non-sporting, terrier, herding (I thought Entlebucher
Mountain Dog maybe)toy, or miscellaneous classes but is AKC reg?

Absolutely no idea then. I'm surprised her breed is 3,000 years old because she certainly doesn't look like any of the ancient breeds.

A very poor example of a Saluki..? Can't think of any other black/tan breeds that haven't been mentioned. Looks like a Hound cross to me.

*Breed* became eligible for AKC registration, December 1, 2010, and was eligible for competition in the Non-Sporting Group, effective January 1, 2011. *Breed* was approved to compete in the Miscellaneous Class this became effective January 1, 2009.

However in her litter there were 5 hairless and 5 coated - she looks nothing like her brother (hairless) who was there today (should've got one of them together) but they were brother and sister and pure Xolo's..
