oh wow you are so lucky - to be so close to those falcons - amazing

I would eventually like to have a small holding so that I can have a horse and chickens and loads of other animals

I'm not a city girl either much prefer the country-side

Oh to have a horse to ride again
Right now I have my two little ponies to enjoy, but i sure miss to have a bigger one I can ride. Love the woods on horseback

I agree with hungting to feed yourself and even sometimes when theyre really is a need 2control the popullation otherwise i dont i have been on game hunts before and only agree in "humane killing" if that is possiable

I go fishing every now and then when I do go I make sure that if the fish is under 1lb i put it back in the water unless its going to die in pain if that happens I just kill it. and if I do kill a fish I usually give it to my parents and they will eat the catch or freeze it so we can eat it some other night.

Perhaps Luke meant Field Voles? They certainly aren't near extinction. We have tons of these behind our house, of which the cat gets many!

Maybe, but he didn't say, we have water Voles by us and they are VERY threatened, field Voles breed like the clappers, but there is evidence in some parts, their numbers are dropping, probably due to increasing Mink numbers.
