I`m sorry to hear your update.
I nursed an old girl with cancer for the last year of her life and promised her at the start that i would do my best for her. When she went, it was with great love and good memories.
These times are precious. Gentle hugs to you both.

Thank you for letting us know, I do so wish you weren't going through this, thank goodness Rocky is not aware.
You are doing all you can possibly do Azz, that's all Rocky wants.

I'm sorry to read this update. I am sure you are doing the best you can for Rocky. It's so sad.

Azz , sometimes no matter how hard we try it is all to no avail, the illness will take its natural course .

Then the best we can do is to give a friend those things they love and enjoy the most be it certain foods or little comforts..

So sorry to read your update Azz, I am sure Rocky knows he is well loved and that you are there for him and that is the main thing. Gentle *Hugs* for Rocky and for you.

I feel for you - this is a horrible time; all those ups and downs and constantly worrying about what to do for the best.

If it was me - and who knows whether this is right or not - I would try to accept what is now inevitable and determine to make what time my dog had left as happy as possible, i.e. would give whatever food is most relished with sausages for treats instead of the healthy options; tailor each day to how the dog was feeling, and give oodles and oodles of cuddles and comforts. I know that Rocky has your love - he knows it too.
