Glad all went ok - and hope kali doesn't miss the plums too much, lol.

Sasha and Gizmo send healing licks.

What a relief, so pleased he`s home and all is well
The vet probably explained to you that after the snip some dogs, [ not all ], do have a slight slowing of metabolism which is where the weight gain comes from in those affected so all you`ll need do is adjust food intake a little if his weight does creep up when his testosterone levels have settled and his metabolism adjusts over the next few weeks and months,[ if it does change at all ].
And don`t feel guilty toward him about the plums, better they be gone than put his health at risk especially if the vets say the cyst op could not be done again if they came back - but let him milk it a bit of course

Hi Snorri, so the little fella lost his plums too as long as he is ok and you have him back home safe and sound with you - that's all that matters x Speedy recovery to Kali

So glad to hear the old lad is back home where he belongs and things went well by the sounds of it, coz at his grand old age you can't help but worry a lot more under the aneasthetic. I hope he'll be back to his normal self as quickly as possible, which I'm sure he will be under you and Mrs. S's tender tlc, bless him, pity you can't have that old fire going Snorri so he can lie in front of it like I know he loves to. Maybe we can have a piccy of the dear old lad later on then when he's feeling up to it of course! Take good care of him now, you've upset his old ego too don't forget!
