she sounds like she needs to be learnt some manners ,i wouldnt worry her mom should have brought her back round home (by what she said she knows what she is like ) i would send her back home and not allow her to come on the walk next time .her mom clearly needs to learn the daughter how to behave round dogs i dont think your dog did anythink wrong

I know it's really hard laying down the law with other people's kids, some parents can be really silly about it, but for Max's sake you have to toughen up! It's your home and your dog, if you want her to go she has to go!

As soon as she refused to amend her behaviour you should have removed Max from the situation. I know with hindsight we would all be perfect and I'm not having a go, honest! But with any luck the girl will have learned a lesson and (I mean this in a friendly way) so will you!
