Thank you, hopefully once the shoulder is sorted I may get relief from my hands too!! Is yours ok now ? They say it effects more women than men

I haven't had an attack for about 3 years, but the last 3 I had were debilitating completely, to the point that I was asking my husband (or my Mum, when he was at work) to wash my hair, as I may as well have only had 1 arm you don't realise how bad it is until you are doing everything with one arm, like the other is redundant and constantly hurting.

I've had loads of jabs into the joint which hurts like hell for weeks, but nothing since, it just aches slightly if cold weather comes on quickly and I get chilled

I hope it goes well, cant wait to hear if the results are good and the final outcome really, as it's also handy for me to know if I get another bad attack, and yes it's more common in women, I was told that too, no idea why though
