I used an angle grinder to cut off the heads of the old ones, then drilled two 8mm holes in the side runners, put the old rivets in position through the holes then placed a steel washer over the stub.
Got the welder out and welded a blob on the rivet stub, while it was still red hot I placed a heavy butt hammer under the rivet head and whacked the red hot end with another hammer, that's more cash I've saved innit Kel.




The finished job.
