Well I suppose she'll be well risen by the morning

I remember my kids having chickenpox. They did remarkably well considering the spots were driving them mad, and my youngest wasn't that much older than Carys.

Plenty of camomile lotion, piriton and bicarb of soda should help her quite a bit. Keep checking her mouth though as some children can get in in there too

It's good Carys has it now. At least it's over and done with

Thanks Corrie - yeah I'm glad, really, that we're going through it now rather than later. She was running a mild temperature today so I gave some Calpol and it came down - so that is good.

She will run a temp for a little while but you're doing right by giving her Calpol. The other pain killer that's good for little one's is the baby Neurofen.
