Hi Ingrid, so very sorry to hear about Fern, but I'm sure under your tlc he'll do well. I would love to see some pics of him as I'm sure he must have grown into such a handsome chap now. I've been very lucky with all mine, no signs of this in any of them, apart from Cassie's arthritis now, but hey, she's 11 next April, so that was to be expected, and Metacam is working wonders for her. I hate to hear of these young gsd's suffering with this, and I know how much homework you did in the beginning to find a good breeder too. I'm sure you'll do everything right to help him with his condition, it must have been terrible for you when he was diagnosed, and so young too. If you get the time, I really would love to see a piccy of him? Good luck with him, big hugs from us too, poor boy.

Hi guys

Thanks so much for your concern, really appreciate it.

He's a lovely natured dog full of energy so slowing him down is going to be challenging but achievable with some training. We will do our best by him and hope that it doesn't deteriorate too soon.

Hi Helen, I haven't taken any new photos but hopefully the weather will hold out and will try and get some posted in the next few days
