I came across a recent email from Lesley, and just wanted to share alongside everyone else another Lesley gem...
Fruit tree pruning is Mr SB's speciality and I don't think he is going to be too impressed with my efforts. I work on the principle that it is silly to have fruit that you cannot reach, so I have hacked every tree down to around 7 feet! Suffice it to say I am not expecting a bumper crop this year.
