Oh that sounds great Ceiron cos I have BT for my phone line anyway. How did you find all that out though?

We were with Orange and for some time we spent more time disconnected than on line. Time spent talking to Calcutta was no good - they even told us to disconnect the printer and scanner and to get a new computer Eventually we changed to BT and the same thing kept happening. They sent an engineer to check everything from the exchange to the house and all round the house to find that we had the wrong filter on the line. As the distance is only just in range we have to have a long range filter. Touch wood since having this put on the line everything seems to keep working. They even refunded all our connection charges for 6 months.

Give em a ring Foxy, we've just gone back to them from NTL and although the call centre is still in India, they were really quite good. We had one initial problem that was a line fault and have applied for a credit and it's all sorted now. We've got the 8mb link as well and already have the Belkin router so have stayed with that.
