So basically I need to take it down so then if he did bite I wouldn't be liable.

Not that he would bite but possibly knock them over. Would that still make me liable.

Got me really worried now.

hmm i know what you mean,i have had 1 up for ages,better to change it thou.
at least they are covered then with the size of leos they could hurt even if they didn't bite.i wonder where you would stand it that happened?

Leo thats exactly what I mean. Dogs as big as ours could cause more damage just by sitting on some one

couldnt you have Be aware of the dogs instead of beware.
Be aware simply informs the visitor that dogs are about- doesnt hint at anything else

I have signs on both my back and front gate. Both say 'we live here' with a pic of GSDs.

Joe is right about the 'beware' bit. If you're dog bites someone trying to break in, or trespassing. You can be prosectuted and risk your dog being PTS.
