Oh that is really awful for you Wolfie. I do hope they manage to get somewhere high and safe when it hits and well out of the way, but the trouble is they say it is over 300 miles wide, that would cover the whole of the u.k. from Southampton to John O'Groats! It is hard to believe isn't it, something as awesome as that and so massive in scale. I heard that the winds would be in excess of 150 miles per hour, and I remember our storm back in 1987 down here in the South when they reached 100 mph that was horrendous to watch and very frightening.

I will be thinking of you and your family on Saturday, and I suppose the worst of it is, you won't be able to have any contact with them when it has hit will you I suppose? So sorry Wolfie.

Hi Wolfie

Sorry to hear about your sisters needing to evacuate........it is shame that they might lose their homes to the weather, but at the end of the day as long as they and both of their families are kept safe and sound that is all the matters, houses and possesions can all be replaced, as hard as it might be and some thing s have grea sentimental value, but loved ones are the most precious thing..........I will be thinking about them all weekend, keep us updated on how things are with you family......

(((((hugs to wolfie and family))))))))

alos to freds family (((xx))

Awww...Wolfie, we'll all be thinking of them and wishing them well. With any luck it won't hit land and stay out over the gulf, we can only hope.

Hope your son has made it to somewhere safe also Fred.

Our thoughts are with you all.

Thanks for your messages everyone, and thanks Fred for the links.

It's just a case of waiting now. I've no longer got any contact with my sisters and thier husbands, and I honestly don't know when I'll be able to speak to them next.

To Karen, Yasmin, Roy and David, as well as Davids family, I hope that you got to the shelter in time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love you all

Sis xxx
