Hi everyone, have managed to walk Amber three times today, not far but enough to fag me out. Fortunately lunchtime she met up with her friend Annie the 2year old bull Mastiff, They were both a bit too robust for me and as my legs have been bad the last two days they kept knocking my knees to blazes. Still I survived and have managed with great difficulty to change the sheets on my bed and also to get the others out and washed and dried and into the air-cupboard. Think his lordship feels I am now over my problems. Oh that I wish I was. I shall be off to bed in a little while to rest up and it will be good to be in nice clean sheets and very much ready for a sleep. God bless all. Mo xxxx

I've got Cariad and Lona trained to pull, but not the youngsters and I think Cariad would probably run and hide if faced with logs to pull, Lona could still do it, but she is knocking on a bit herself and I don't want to overface her. She had a great time swimming yesterday and today, generally running about with Zen in close attendance and Mabs not far behind.
LOL at bumblesnout, Norma. I have a piccie of the moment Zen discovered you can't walk on water, she shot up the banking like the Devil was after her and stood there, pressed against the earthworks, shaking Now she can't get enough of it and runs up and down in it, chasing seagulls and following her Nana and Mummy when they go swimming, although she's not risking going anything more than knee deep.
Just watered the turf, girls have had chicken carcasses for tea,and I've got roast beef and yorkshire pudding in the oven. Kitchen floor should have been mopped, but I'm sure it will be there tomorrow, waiting for me.
Your neighbour is very good in some ways, Griff, isn't she. Not a fan of Indian food at all, but the thought is there.
Thats a nice signal you have arranged with The Mem LG. Like you say its hard to find someone of the same mind as you to talk to over dinner. Navy Ladies Nights and the like were dreaded by me, as no one was interested in horses and dogs, very sadly, and I can do Current Affairs up to a point, but when all said and done is polite talk and nothing that has any substance to it. Lovely you had the vet to talk to, otherwise the bow tie would have been undone within seconds of the Main Course being devoured

LOL Zen was the same with a duckling that was having a swimming lesson escorted by 2 males who chased her off, but she went right back to check they meant it! Can't believe she will be one in a couple of weeks.

Evening everyone got home about 5 tidied up the picnic fed Dillon sorted the washing and put it away now we are all cream crackered.
Car was great we have it on a temporary 30 day extension policy for now it will give us time to sort the Mazda and see where we go when it is fixed with them.
No breakdown cover as of yet though have to sort that independently for the peugeot.

Hope everyone has had a good day and are feeling better for those who are feeling under the weather.

Here are a few photos of the day.

1st picture Dillon in his new Dillonmobile.
2nd picture just had to get that photo of the Bernese falling asleep being fussed.
3rd and 4th picture our friends from Welney and their GR Fern 11-1/2 in the golden oldies parade. Tim wouldn't take her in the ring and Cindy had Canda so I took Fern and they got rosettes.
5th picture my lovely boy who barked nearly all the way there Gorden drove there and slept nearly all the way back. I drove home.
