As of yet we have none of Dillon and the grandchildren as he is a bit bouncy and barks for attention a lot when they are around.

We do have some of Ollie with the grandchildren.

such lovely photos everyone so nice to see that kids and dogs CAN live happily together, contrary to what the papers and certain mum websites claim!

Some really gorgeous photos

I was not allowed a dog as a child, so it is especially satisfying to allow my children to grow up surrounded by the dogs I was so desperate for at their age

William first ...

Wills and puppy Mirk

Wills with Rob and Eve

Wills and Moss

Wills and Tweed

Wills and Flame (and Flame really didn't like children for a long time)

Not got many since the dog walking ones are on my phone and the camera on that is rubbish.

One relatively normal one...

And then, while trying to take a nice photo of the baby... this lunatic jumps in trying to hog the camera...

(It's just the way his face looks in it that makes me laugh every time)

They grew up together and both of them still think, even today, that GSDs are 'proper' dogs and the sort of dogs I own nowadays are not!

I didn't answer on the other thread as I'd never given it a thought. The dog in this piccie was about 9yrs old when I had my daughter.

Expert in walking with lead hooked over buggy handle. Never pulled any toy if a kid was on the other end of it. Was never ever anything other than 'kids best friend'
