Just to let you know,Vegas was a s*d at the country park today!

My sister (Tracey) came with me with her little Boxer puppy 'Lola',so she would be socialised with other dogs and she loved it.After Vegas had been swimming in the lake with other doggies,we wandered upto the cafe for a coffee and i tied his lead around one of the picnic benches outside with Tracey.

As i was walking towards the door with coffees,i could see Tracey trying to pull Vegas off the damn picnic table! People were laughing at him cause he sat there loud & proud watching the world go by.I know his previous owners allowed him to do as he pleased, but couple of people said (while i was inside cafe and Tracey told me what they said)-"he's not been trained very well".All i did was say to him "Vegas-down" and he immediately got down onto the ground.

She did justify Vegas's actions by explaining to them that i havent had him long and im having to undo the bad habits he has been allowed to get away with. He's getting better, but we still have a long way to go with regards to jumping up/getting on furniture/recall,but do wish people wouldnt automatically assume its from lack of my training.Training bad habits out of an adolescent dog isnt as easy as some may think!

aaww bless I love Vegas he sounds like a real charmer !!

Just to add to the whole destructiveness thread. We are very lucky in that Bruno doesnt mind beign on his own and doesnt destory anything or chew ( only his toys) However we have a theory .......

Instead of destroying things whilst we re out I am sure bruno takes his stinky bottom into every room in the house and farted a good few times in each room. We cam home the other night after being out for a few hours and the house stank of dog fart !!! NOT NICE AT ALLLLLLLLL - disgusting - so thats his party piece - but how on earth do i stop him doing that other than sticking a cork up his bum !! LOL
