My first dog was a ESS x American Cocker Spaniel, I know you said the first dog you owned yourself, but even though I was 7 Patches was MINE! then we adopted a little terrier mix, Benji, when I was 8. Both are gone now. Then I adopted Zoe, a Lhasa x Bichon, then Scout, a smallish-medium sized terrier mix, then Oliver, a largish -medium sized terrier mix, then the 2 Dachshunds.

I'm somewhat eclectic in my taste of breeds The only thing consistent with my dogs is that they're rescues and re-homes.

my first dog was a siberian huskey, he passed 3 years ago ,
and now have a brittany x, and a special needs border collie.
Huskies, are still one of my fav breeds, and I would never rule out getting another.

Cairn terrier. No don't own one now as Jamie didn't want the same breed after we had Badger put to sleep as found it very upsetting as Badger was so lovely.
