That's really bad. I had thought that if I ever had to leave Loki with anyone other than family, it would be with a "sitter", rather than kennels but I'd have to really vet them first.

I wonder if you can claim off your own insurance (if you are insured) in these cases? Still, though, it is your premium that would be affected.

A question - why does a dog need an operation for OCD (obsessive compulsive behaviour?)?

I also hate people who 'wing it' and have no insurance etc. It makes it so much harder for people who actually do it legitimately and have the license and insurance because they undercut the prices so much that it's hard for a legitimate sitter to compete.

A lot of people who do it don't even seem to realise that they /require/ a license...people I've spoken to asking about my business are always surprised when I mention they /must/ be licensed and have a high level of insurance cover in case anything were to happen. There's a woman 500 yards away from me who does it and has no license or cover whatsoever.
Get in touch with your council and tell them Kalasin. I would.

Can I still claim 'Baby Brain' after 6 months? How about lack of sleep?

Perhaps with a dog like Loki kennels would be the better option then. Not that I'm seriously considering either but it's nice to have options, just in case.

Kennels will be better for most dogs, but sitters (PROPER ONES) will be better for a few. Obviously I manage a kennels, but we have on several occasions suggested sitters as an alternative dependant on the animal.

Its the dogs Im more concerned about DD. These people who pretend and deceive are lower than snakes bellies. They take money, are responsible for injuries etc.. and then claim its all at your expense, while some time before telling people its the best option!
