Really you must rest it, don't even attempt to talk or you'll make it worse. Plenty of warm drinks (and a cold glass of wine ....hmmmm yes I am sure that'll help also!! )

I've had it too and my hubby thought it was hilarious as I am such a chatterbox I couldn't stand it.

Can't one of your parrots talk for you instead?
