I could actually get to Cheddar by bus to meet up, if anyone wanted a walk there. Apparently one of the tourist caves - not sure if Cox's or Gough's - allows dogs in.

And if you watched Halcyon River Diaries last week on TV, the mill ponds and streams that flow through the gorge right in the middle of Cheddar itself, yards from the caves, is home to an amazingly thriving population of water voles, it's one of the best places to spot them in England.

Meldon reseviour and sourton down (same place really) are nice. You can walk round the resivior in 40 mins and go as long as you like over the moors.
Near okehampton.

I also like roadford lake and a couple of the other resiviors.

Though I'm probably not invited lol

Ok guys, how does Saturday 12th February suit everyone?

Location still to be decided, seems there are more over somerset way than devon so i guess we should take that into consideration.

Are we going to go for a circular style walk or a beach walk?

If anyone wants then a walk up Glastonbury Tor could be done, though I can't guarantee much off-lead action, but can check with my sister who is a dogwalker in the area and will know safe fields etc.

Stormpants is local too, so she may come along with Stormy
Yes, Stormy and I (possibly Dave too) will definitely be up for that....If we can get to wherever the walk meet ends up at!

Not sure if anyone is still interested in doing this on the 12th but have had a look into walks and there's a circular walk up near minehead that looks ok:
