When would we know if she is staying permanently?

I was thinking, if someone was willing to act as Treasurer (Azz maybe? or a Mod?), we could donate what we've all pledged and maybe nearer Christmas give the money to a rescue we choose.

I figure we were very ready to be unselfish at this expensive time of year for one dog... we've all decided in our minds what we could afford, so why not put our pledges to good use?

Maybe we could do it every year?
The Dogsey Christmas Appeal......?

Well Jadey, you tried, that is the important thing. I sometimes post on Dogsey that it's the humans who mess things up, I wish it were not so but life has been telling me that for a good few years now.

Sorry if this sounds negative but the group donation thing has been banned following a couple which went wrong about three years ago.

Why not PM Azz and see if the rules could be amended for a once a year rescue donation, or there is the calendars which IIRC are for charity.

How about this....we have a Christmas collection and buy from Lizzy23 as many of her doggy jumpers as we can afford, and donate them to Rescue Remedies. That way we help Northern England Springer Spaniel Rescue (NESSR) by swelling their coffers and Rescue Remedies whose dogs are in desperate need of coats in their chilly kennels.

It's transparent, risk free and would help lots of dogs.

I am up for that, it might not help the little bitch but it will help the others.

If we just paypal seperately to Lizzie she could tell us how many we manage. Thats if she doesn't mind?
