Just logged on & read with my heart in my mounth ~ & it was just a piece of sellotape!!! What a drama queen

Barney often sleeps in front of the cooker (often upside down) & Wednesday morning, after I'd left for work, my husband was upstairs & heard Barney screaming in panic. He rushed downstairs & found Barney's foot had slipped under the cooker & as he woke up & tried to stand up, he twisted his foot & trapped it. Massive panic from Barney, relief from husband when he freed him & realised that no harm was done.

What would they do without us!

I bet after you got over the panic you could help but laugh and think "Silly Tess".

I was reading your post in horror wondering what had happened to poor Tess, thank goodness it was a funny story!!

Never underestimate the trauma of sellotape though. We came home one day and Max came sort of staggering towards me, not using one of his legs. First panicked thought - my boy has had some sort of stroke or fit. Closer examination - he had stood on a roll of sellotape and somehow got his paw struck through it like some kind of weird anklet!

Glad Tess is ok though!
