The wolves I`ve seen look slender, lighter boned, with a more slanted set to the eyes and a narrower head. That`s just the ones I`ve seen though - I haven`t seen all the different types of wolf. So, TBH the first pic looks like a sable GSD cross to me.

I would say yes it does look wolfie, but I'd also say that I think that the background could be playing a part of that too

I've also seen pics of wolves that i thought were dogs.

There are differences obviously like the narrow head and slanted eyes that C&D has mentioned but to the untrained layperson it passes for a pretty good wolf.
