No - and this is what annoyed us so much about Ozzy, it could have been avoided We discovered after Ozzy was diagnosed that his Mother had passed it onto his siblings and his breeder didn't even bother to tell us. Needless to say we were very annoyed.

Everysingle bitch that gives birth Passes Demodex Mites to her Puppies, Apart From A Ceaserian Bitrh. Its the Genetic disposition to deal with the Mites that causes the demodex reaction

Everybodies dogs unless born by CS will carry the mites
