probably a fox- although they wouldnt actually seek out trouble(Would much rather run away) if one of the dogs grabbed the fox would have bitten and screamed in self defence- and probably caused damage as was running away in panic.

Im leaning towards fox alittle now, for two reasons, I have seen the Tom, that is a pest, today and he's absolutely fine. Plus a neighbour has just told me that she got a fright the other night when she went down the garden and a fox ran up and over the fence.

Whatever it was Skye had hold of it, Bruce wasn't far behind either, but Skye let go when I shouted.

Thankfully they weren't fighting amongst themselves.....which would of been bad as they have never done that, but I do feel sorry for whatever it was, I'll just have to check at nights before letting them out, just incase.

What a night! I guess you'll never know for sure what it was, but I'm glad that Skye and Bruce are fine.

Just a thought but have you seen the reports about killer chipmunks attacking pets? No really! Apparently they are really quite vicious and randomly attack! Glad your dogs are ok tho!

We have foxes come down from the local woods and I have seen them down in my back garden! Perhaps it was a wily fox!!

Hope the dogs are OK now. That must have been very frightening both for them and for you both as well.

Hugs to both Skye and Bruce from me and doggy kisses from Loki xx.

Take care.

They are fine,

Skye seems to feel she is guard dog of the month though at the moment..

She's been guarding the chickens with her life since yesterday, anything that goes near the pens....'''''''''gets it''''

I reckon it was a fox - more than likely after the chickens.

Pleased to hear no-one was badly hurt, hon
